One of my uncles has, at 78, just acquired e-mail and learned to use a scanner, so we get near daily treats. Most often recycled jokes, but he sends gems too, old stories and photos, so you have to open the e-mails. Thought I would share this one, from the wedding of one of my cousins in 1996. There have been a number of additions (4 spouses and 10 more children), and sadly two losses, but this is the last time my mother's family gathered all together for fun.

But your shoes are hidden in this photo!
I know! I checked that out too. But then I quickly remembered that I had a pair of black linen pumps that I wore that day. They are in Elizabeth's room right now, and I tried them on last night, so they will make an appearance soon. I loved those shoes!
78 and starting to learn how to use the internet, that's wonderful. Yossi has been trying to convince his 85-year old mother but in vain so far.
I still have that dress. Boy have we changed. Remember all of us sleeping in the one hotel room--did your Dad snore?
NO! Dad didn't snore-- that was when Susan and I shared a bed and she scared the **** out of me with her ice cold foot after Dad made his final "Ok, that's enough messing around. Time for bed." announcement, and I screamed, thus getting in trouble for NOT settling down. I believe I wrote a stellar paper on that in high school.
I couldn't even find you at first. What a great photo.
